  5. I just discovered your site (thanks to your upcoming TLA appearance). Can you tell me what this list is a list of? I see not all of them have been reviewed, so I'm not sure what are the parameters for putting a book on this list.

  6. Hi Kristine,
We're in the process of updating the list (so it will be current for TLA). The books on this list are titles that we have, at some point in the past 10 years, included in our SITL booktalks. The titles that don't have a link to a review are books that were included in the program more than 5 years ago--we haven't mustered the energy to go back and retroactively review titles that we don't talk about much anymore!

There are also titles that WILL be on the list that aren't there yet.

These are titles we have read and reviewed in the past 6 months that need to be added to the list. We'll have the complete online list updated before we come to Texas.

We will also post the current (and much shorter) list of hot titles on the blog for readers to enjoy. It always happens that we read a fabulous new book or two while in transit to a presentation, so the "up-to-date booklist" is always a moving target!

Thanks for writing--we'll see you in Texas!
